German Islamist arrested over plot to kill soldiers and police - 'I wanted to slay them'
GERMAN police have arrested a 26-year-old radical Islamist who was building a bomb in his home to target either police or soldiers.

The man was seized Wednesday in a raid in the Lower Saxony town of Northeim.
He is a German national said to be active in the radical Salfist scene.
The allegedly told police after his arrest: "I wanted to slay them with it."
