GOP lawmakers avoiding meetings with constituents because they are worried about boisterous crowds that have shown up at recent town hall gatherings "have not seen anything yet," Sen. Bernie Sanders warned Thursday.

In an interview on CNN's "Erin Burnett OutFront," the Vermont Independent said if lawmakers "don't have the guts to face your constituents, you shouldn't be in the United States Congress."

THe Dems are following the game plan Michael Moore laid out in the article linked in the OP here http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,250695.msg1238212.html#msg1238212 They aren't just using Delphi tactics, they are packing the room and shouting the Congressperson down.

If you want your opinion known, and it is worth the time, write (hand done, cursive, even) a letter to your congressman or Senators and make your opinion known. Handwritten letters from home districts are more likely to actually be read.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
