Sen. Ted Cruz on Thursday predicted that there will be another Supreme Court vacancy “this summer,” on top of the current opening on the high court left by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia.

“This summer, I think we’ll have another Supreme Court vacancy,” he told attendees at the Conservative Political Action Conference, prompting applause and then some murmurs from the crowd.

Supreme Court justices receive lifetime appointments, and their tenure only ends when they retire or die.

Is he spiking Ruth Bader Ginburg's oatmeal with arsenic or something, regardless of his efforts or the outcome, some will hate him, and I'm ok with the space he takes up in their head.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

My guess is that Kennedy (or maybe Thomas)  has told Cruz he will resign, once Trump get the Scalia replacement justice confirmed.

If Kennedy, it would give a chance to move the needle further in the conservative direction.

But there is always the risk of a Souter type mistake.
