Thousands of refugees are fleeing America and traveling to Canada in the wake of Donald Trump's immigration crackdown.

The number of migrants claiming refugee status at the Canadian-US border rose to over 7,000 last year, up from 4,300 in the previous year.

More than 1,400 people have claimed asylum at the border with Quebec since November alone - more than the whole of 2015.

Refugees? If they are legitimate refugees who gained legal entry into the United States why would they flee to Canada, more likely they are illegal aliens and those who became illegal by overstaying their visas, bottom line who cares as long as they self deport themselves. I wonder how long Canadians will put up with comrade trudeau gifting these refugees with more rights and money than legal Canadians. We may have to build a wall on another border if Canada continues practices that undermine our safety.
