House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz on Wednesday said his committee will send a letter to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz to request an investigation into mishandling of classified information.
Chaffetz announced the move Wednesday on Fox News' "The First 100 Days."
Though his announcement comes in the wake of the resignation of national security adviser Michael Flynn, the Utah Republican said he wants the IG to look into various cases of potential mishandling of classified information.
