White House interviewing Petraeus as possible Flynn replacement

President Trump and his top advisers will talk with retired Gen. David Petraeus this week as a possible replacement for National Security Advisor Michael Flynn, according to a report.

Trump regularly referenced Petraeus during his campaign speeches last year, telling guests at rallies that the former general was punished more severely for leaking classified information to his mistress than former State Sec. Hillary Clinton was reprimanded for setting up a private email server.

I don't like it.  I don't see any way that Petraeus isn't already compromised.

Petraeus shared classified information with his mistress.
No one with honor or integrity is willing to serve in this administration.

As much as I respect Petraeus otherwise, he IS compromised, and IMO, shouldn't be trusted.

He shared his schedule (which was classified). She was writing his biography so his whereabouts was info she needed. Hillary did far worse and almost became president. Petraeus got the Martha Steward treatment.

AND - I think she had classified clearance.  Shouldn't have been an issue, but someone was out to compromise him. 

Now, the having a girlfriend on the side - that IS an issue.

Yes, I think the girl friend on the side is why the Obama admin went after him. But there could be other reasons, one thing I will give Petraius (sp) he was a very good commander.

No he didn't...Stewart got jail time, Petraeus wrote a check and got a slap on the wrist.
