Last Thursday, the Trump administration was rocked by the withdrawal of Chuck Cooper for the key Justice Department position of solicitor general. And now the push is on to find Cooper's replacement.
Cooper's decision to drop out was due to the rough treatment given Sen. Jeff Sessions at the hands of Senate Democrats, which has raised questions about just how many conservative Republicans are willing to be nominated to major positions and submit to the Senate confirmation process.
