Behind the mass protests, choreographed chants and acts of violence, leaders of anti-Trump “resistance” efforts are communicating the same simple but dark message: they want to make America “ungovernable” for the president of the United States.

These protesters say they will do whatever it takes to keep Trump from enacting his agenda, and many of them have shown a willingness to destroy public property, assault law enforcement officers and inflict violence upon their fellow citizens.

They will make blue cities ungovernable only and just alienate their own people.

We already have laws on the books that apply to this; they just need to be enforced.
My political philosophy:

1) I'm not bothering anybody.
2) It's none of your business.
3) Leave me alone!

Agreed. It seems we have a lot of laws on the books that just need to be enforced.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

McCarthy didn't mention the funders of the violence though he may have hinted.

LMAO!  They're going to create 'new ways of being human'?  Seriously?  You can't make this chit up.

They might want to start.... by removing the bandito masks that they're hiding behind as they throw rocks at the police, burn private property, and generally show their ugly @sses to the world.

“As we resist, we will create new governing institutions, new economic relationships, and new ways of being human,” the pledge reads.

No quarter given to the enemy within...ever.

You can vote your way into socialism, but you have to shoot your way out of it.

Agreed. It seems we have a lot of laws on the books that just need to be enforced.

Strangely, when someone actually does, say when a president executes his constitutional authority to restrict immigration, the special snowflakes of the right rise up and march their patriotism leftward into Camp Leftist to oppose it. Among them, a loud faction screams about genocidal bigotry, white supremacy and other contextually non existent nonsense.

The problem is the same as ever. The number of people that want conservative governance and the law applied shrinks in direct proportion to that conservatism or the law actually being applied.  You have a significant portion of the right that is at best, moderate and as such, can only be relied on to obstruct any progress in lawful governance. They want governance based on their personal feelings of the given moment and one only need look at their actions over time to verify it.

If we restrict it to the past two elections, we see the right abandon the abortion issue for a guy that profited directly from the dead baby business, followed by the complete character assassination of a man that until  it looked like he could become the nominee, the collective right looked at as perhaps the next Reagan.

Today we see many on the right scream and holler about restricting immigration, about applying sedition laws to the media and actual physically violent anarchists and others with rehashed charges of 'McCarthyism!' It's straight out of the leftist playbook of infiltrate a movement and destroy from within.

But people simply say 'Yea but...' and go right on letting it happen so as to not upset their online and real life buddies. Folks, High School never ends. And until we clean our own house, it never will. If you all are good with playing out the same scenario every 4 years (and history shows decisively that most are) then  keep allowing leftists with a conservative mask on to disrupt conservatism and steer the boat . There is no difference between a leftist hiding behind a conservative mask and an anarchist hiding behind a ski mask. The same result is what America gets from either.

Not necessarily.  The burden is on government, and those who lead the government to, well, govern, and if that does not happen - almost no matter the reason why - it will be held against them.  This is a faint reflection of the tactics the guerrillas (aka terrorists) employed in places like El Salvador:  I remember being told about how they would tape half-sticks of dynamite to the telephone and power poles and blow them up; the goal was to make the people upset with the government and its inability to guarantee reliable service; and it had some of the intended effect.

I was assuming we'd see more of the same, people blocking streets and such. In Portland I actually saw people cheering when the cops came in and smashed some leftist's heads against the pavement, on a video. They'll just alienate their own fans.

If they start committing legitimate terrorism and sabotage (as you described) then my opinion changes.
