Trump seems to be still running for office. He bashed the press and his supporters loved it. So he continues to do so. Now he's bashing members of the Judicial Branch which he did during the primaries and his supporters love it. The problem I see is that judges are going to make the final determination on the immigration ban and other EO's.
How do you see it this way? Are the courts going to usurp from the executive branch the power to issue Visas? Are we now going to have the State Department controlled by Judge Robart?
Trump will ultimately win this one way or the other. All he has to do now is revoke all Visas from the named countries, and refuse to issue more.
Why go out of your way to antagonize them? It almost makes you think he doesn't really give a rat's ass about what he's doing and is merely throwing his dogs a bone.
Why go out of your way to antagonize them? Because Trump knows the basics of human social behavior while a lot of his critics don't seem to understand them.
Bush never fought back. Clinton always fought back. Obama always fought back. Fight and keep winning and your enemies eventually lose heart.
Trump is going to win this fight because the legitimate power to do what he wants is on his side. He will deal his enemies and critics another defeat, and the antagonizing them is designed to sap their morale.
