One of the leading German news magazines, Der Spiegel, posted a shocking cover for this week's issue:

The artist, Edel Rodriguez, a Cuban immigrant to the U.S., showed a disconnect from reality that explains how his mind conjured up such revolting imagery.

I think that even in Europe this may backfire. Certainly a lot of Germans must wish for a halt to the overtaking of their country by people sharing none of their values.

BERLIN - German weekly magazine Der Spiegel sparked controversy at home and abroad on Saturday with a front cover illustration of US President Donald Trump beheading the Statue of Liberty.

It depicts a cartoon figure of Trump with a bloodied knife in one hand and the statue's head, dripping with blood, in the other. It carries the caption: "America First".
