Simply stating the truth as I see it is hardly agitating.

If I'm agitating, I'm agitating for greater patience from both sides.

Its my mistake then. I thought 'chairborne rangers' might be in reference to some here, who are merely posting opinions too.

Think of it like taking Tokyo rose off the air. Or a Terrorist propaganda broadcast shut down.

Could you elaborate?

Not sure on what you wish me to elaborate so I will simply point out something I realized a long time ago.

The media steers the nation politically.    The Entertainment media launches and reinforces memes,  and the News media censors or minimizes information detrimental to liberal policies,  and additionally makes up or hypes information detrimental to those who oppose liberal policies.

The "media"  is the Air-force of the left,  and we have been trying to fight a war while we continue to allow these bastards to bomb and strafe us.

I now recognize that a very important strategic necessity is to seize that weapon and then turn it's power back against them.   If we cannot seize it,  then we need to try and destroy it.   Either way,  we have to get the information distribution system back to a level playing field.

There are all sorts of means of attacking this problem,  but first we must get the rest of our side aware of the scope of the problem,  and aware of the necessity of attacking it.

Till we have sufficient manpower and money directed at the problem,  we will not get very far in neutralizing their propaganda system.

You're usage of denigrating terms like "chairborne rangers"  is a deliberate attempt to agitate.

As a former journalist, I am advocating that yellow journalists have their toys taken away from them by whatever legal means are available including losing applicable federal licensing, lawsuits for liebel/slander. should the media go so far as to directly interfere in or cause a national security incident, I OPENLY advocate that the journalist involved be brought up on appropriate charges, along with their writers, cameramen, studio/channel, publication, bosses and owners; tried and treated according to the law.

So before you go off on a free speech tirade, remember that I spent well over a decade on the inside of the industry and understand how deep the liberal corruption and hate for this country and it's people goes.

TLDR: Don't talk to me about the freedom of speech for propagandists trying to destroy my country and countrymen.

To me it looks like applying and following the law. That often does look like a dictatorship to people opposed to constitutional governance.

Done in either case, Trumpian progressive populism will be crushed under the weight of the democrats his childish taunting have stirred to action. In the coming years we'll be seeing record numbers of democrats who will get out and vote no matter how pathetic their candidates are.

Meanwhile the orange baboon is deliberately trying to de-legitimze the American form of government with comments like "So called judges"

Trump is our President and he has done more in the past couple of weeks to try and head us in a better direction than Bammy ever did, so I for one, think we should all drop the orange baboon (I have been just as guilty in the past) name calling.

It is too early in the game to see what the final outcome will be of a Trump presidency.  Regardless of party affiliation; Republican Democrat or Independent what truly matters is electing someone who adheres to the Constitution.  It's the Constitution; the very foundation of our country that matters.  Getting back to constitutional principles and our rule of law is the only thing that is going to keep us on point and headed in a positive direction.  I truly believe each and every one of us that considers themselves an American has a duty to support and defend our Constitution.  Putting party aside; the Constitution is what truly matters.

Unfortunately many of our judges are ruling by partisanship rather than on law. Migrants and refugees who want to come into this country are non-citizens and have no rights under the Constitution; they aren't citizens.  The Constitution applies to the citizens of the United States.  The preamble to the Constitution clearly states; "WE THE PEOPLE of the United States..."  it doesn't say "ALL PEOPLE" ... those that aren't in this country legally, or have yet not entered this country are not entitled to the rights that our Constitution affords its citizens.

IMHO when a country fails to secure its borders, its just a matter of time before it loses its sovereignty and opens the door for destruction. This bunk that we are a nation of immigrants to justify allowing people into this country from areas of known terrorism has no footing.  Yes our descendants migrated to this country for the purpose of building upon the foundation of our rule of law, assimilating, and many came here legally and became law abiding citizens. Terrorists and for that matter, many who enter illegally, have no intention of assimilating; they are out to take advantage of our social programs and prey upon our system, and many are admittedly wanting to gain entry to kill our citizens and destroy our country.  Huge difference!

It's obvious that you are fishing for someone to say "let's engage in some violent activity of some sort."

There are plenty of ways short of violence to reign in abuses on the part of Media.   Trump is using one of them right now in the manner he has frozen out CNN.    I've been saying since 1992 (after watching the media steal that election for Bill Clinton)  that people on our sides should  denigrate them to their faces and refuse to cooperate with them.

Trump calling CNN "Fake News"  and freezing them out of interviews with executive department members will not only taint them socially,  but eventually will cause them financial loss.

Trump is bringing pain to them,   and while it might not be enough to get them to play nice,   it cannot help but have a positive effect in several different ways.

Another example is Glenn Reynolds eternal suggestion.   "REPEAL THE HOLLYWOOD TAX CUTS!"

Wealthy Hollywood Socialist advocates are always wanting them some more socialism,   I say give the bastards a lot more responsibility of paying for all that socialism they want.   Stop their bullsh*t accounting systems too!   Make them live by the rules the rest of us have to live under.

And there are a lot more means of attacking the Liberal media monopoly too.   How about we sue them for Affirmative Action reasons?    They obviously discriminate against conservatives in their hiring practices,   bring law suits,  get judgements,  and force them to hire more!

Demand they abide by strict FEC election law.   Make them report as "in kind" contributions when they turn some "entertainment"   broadcast into a political statement supporting/opposing candidates.

There are a lot of ways to attack them.   We just need to realize we must attack them,   and then acquire the means and fortitude necessary to do it.

What would be the matter with breaking up AP & UPI like the Bell system?

Gotta think this one through.

Dont care what it looks like to you. To me, calling following the laws crazy is pretty bizzare. Is there some reason you feel it is constitutional in a republic to not apply and enforce the laws that exist?

Do you feel that people should be free to liebel, slander and start wars from TV studios because their "free speech" Is above the rights of others to not be slandered/libeled?

By all means, tell the class how that works because you cannot have it both ways.

If there is a monolopy case to be made, we should. But AP is increasingly irrelevant. Twitter/Facebook and various flash in the pan 'news sources pulling 'facts' out of thin air are where most eyes are today.

Seems to me the wire services & alphabet networks are still setting context and although social media is increasingly the conduit the info still seems to be coming from the usual suspects.

If you check my post history here and FR going back to 1997, you'll find I have been proposing this for two full decades. It isn't a new concept for me. I wish Obama would have followed my advice. He'd have been 100% in the right to do so. Although I don't see why a leftist would act so strongly to hamstring themselves.

Now why specifically do you feel that following the law, applying the law is crazy in a constitutional republic.

  Show me any law that states that we MUST allow immigrants into this country.  There are various rules that have been enacted after their arrival, but I haven't been able to find any law that states we must allow our borders to remain open and we have no authority to stop anyone from entering the United States.

It is, but they are less and less the drivers of news. How often do you see the MSM lead with "According to XXXX in a twitter post" or "Congresswoman XXXX's Facebook page reported that..."?

They arent what they used to be. But yes, they are indeed very much a problem.

Is Twitter making a profit yet?    Anyways,  there is this thing called "Gab"  that is working to challenge Twitter.    Perhaps that is a method?

As for destroying the media,   there are ways,   but till we decide we must do it,   we aren't going to get anywhere.   It takes a coalition of people to have a significant impact.   Sure,  the occasional genius can smack the media real good on occasion,  but what we need are sustained attacks, (Legal and social)    the sort of which they cannot survive in their current incarnation.

Glenn Reynolds urges wealthy Republicans to buy women's magazines and hire conservatives to run and edit them.    This seems like a pretty good idea to me.

As Franklin said:

Quote
Printers are educated in the Belief, that when Men differ in Opinion, both Sides ought equally to have the Advantage of being heard by the Publick; and that when Truth and Error have fair Play, the former is always an overmatch for the latter: Hence they chearfully serve all contending Writers that pay them well, without regarding on which side they are of the Question in Dispute.

What we have to do is get both sides to have "fair play".   Our side is horribly deficient at being able to get it's message heard by the "publick."

I already said slander/liebel. Those two on their own, if people actually sued when slander/liebeled, would quickly end the practice of these outlets using them as a tactic. then there is the FCC/Public airwave usage laws. then there is the Anti-Trust laws, the tax laws, the accounting laws as DioLamp mentioned above.

Then there is the whole national security thing. There are CLEARLY many cases that could be made, were our govt willing, to drag the media empires before a court on charges of sedition because the FACTS show X and the media reports Y in case after case from Dan Rather trying to usurp a national election, to the entire war on terror.

Lest we forget, going back to Uncle Walter, the MSM is responsible for turning an entire country against the war it engaged in based WHOLLY on leftist lies. That is treason.

Did they commit it? If every member of the press committed sedition why wouldn't we? Thats why we bring charges and have trials where they are applicable.

Is that a problem? Again, why so? What is crazy about it? You seem to not want to answer that simple question. Do you oppose law? Are you a leftist Anarchist? They think having laws is bad too. So you tell me. Ball's in your court.
