AROUND 50,000 undocumented Irish could face *deportation from the US — as new president Donald Trump follows through on his election promise to crack down on illegal immigrants.

The new leader of America has vowed to deport illegal immigrants with criminal records within his first 100 days in office and a series of executive actions suggest he will widen the net to all unofficial US residents over the coming months.

Irish illegals are an open secret in NYC. Not mentioned in the article is that building booms draw them in for construction jobs. So, it's not just Hispanics or Muslims causing politicians to demand sanctuaries as there are other peoples being protected.

Tradition has an American flag placed atop the finished steelwork of skyscrapers. I saw one in Manhattan with the Irish flag.

Just to be in this country illegally requires more crimes to be committed than just entering illegally. Many laws have to be broken just to survive, not small ones either. Identity theft, tax fraud, benefits fraud, document fraud just to name a few.  Heck, just to get the aforementioned construction jobs they would commit several felonies.

True, but I do not think this is the same standard Trump is using when he says we're gonna send the bad ones back.

Although I would be delighted if it were.

More Fake News.

In the story it says clearly those "with criminal records".  These 50,000 Irish who most likely entered this country legally but overstayed VISAs, unless they are felons or incarcerated are not targeted with this deportation, if there truly is such a thing being put in motion.
