In 2015 and 2016, NASA conducted a unique experiment on twin astronauts, where one was monitored while in space and the other was on the ground. Now, the first early results from this Twins Study have been revealed.

At first I thought they had done a test of the old physics class thought experiment with twins where one stays on Earth and the other travels in a large loop at a speed that is a significant percentage of the speed of light, to see if the traveling twin ages less than the twin who stayed on Earth.
