Texas state report: ISIS is on our borders
'We are especially concerned about the potential for terrorist infiltration'

There long have been reports of activity by Islamic terrorists just across the border from Texas in Mexico, that ISIS was setting up training camps in the region and that Muslim terrorists were infiltrating the U.S. through that region.

Now the state of Texas is issuing alarms about that very issue in its new Texas Public Safety Threat Overview, released just this month.

Noting that the state faces a “full spectrum” of threats, especially “due to the recent actions of lone offenders or small groups affiliated with or inspired by the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and other foreign terrorist organizations, we assess that the current terrorism threat to Texas is elevated,” the report states.
