Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) says President Trump’s pick for secretary of Education will get no votes from Democrats.

In an interview with MSNBC's Rachel Maddow on Thursday, Franken said Democrats were looking to convince Republicans to oppose Betsy DeVos's confirmation as well.

"She is an ideologue who knows next to nothing about education policy as ... she demonstrated really in her confirmation hearing," Franken said. "There’s going to be a lot of these nominees who we're going to do everything we can to defeat."

He is up for re election in 2018.

BTW WV and WY were the two highest vote percents, for Trump. Coal country didn't like Hillary at all.

It wouldn't surprise me if Manchin switched parties. It would be prudent.

Just say the democrat party left him. Play the video clip of Bill Clinton on immigration in 1995, with Trump's position.

If I was this loser, I wouldn't be concerned about the Sec of Ed. I would be worried about the new investigation into voting fraud. Without the fraud this asshat is back to writing books no one buys.
