I’m not concerned about the data. Anything he reads on that screen is coming from the insecure network that we all use, and any e-mails, texts, Tweets, and whatever are going out to that same network. But this is a consumer device, and it’s going to have security vulnerabilities. He’s at risk from everybody, ranging from lone hackers to the better-funded intelligence agencies of the world. And while the risk of a forged e-mail is real — it could easily move the stock market — the bigger risk is eavesdropping. That Android has a microphone, which means that it can be turned into a room bug without anyone’s knowledge. That’s my real fear.
He has already been assigned a secure device, but apparently he can't twitter from that one, so he keeps old faithful going, Shirley, the SS has upgraded this one too, right?@txradioguy
Does anyone remember 8-years ago when the question was if President Obama was able to keep using his iPhone and his Blackberry? I think I remember we were debating the risk of allowing him to do that right here on TBR. Now we have a President who wants to continue to use not just a Blackberry or Cell Phone, but also a Twitter Account. Is the debate over the legality and risk done with just because it's Trump? If you remember Obama was not allowed for security reasons to have an iPhone, but was aloud to continue to use his BlackBerry. http://www.nbcnews.com/id/28780205/ns/technology_and_science-tech_and_gadgets/t/obama-gets-keep-his-blackberry/
Not if he's keeping it hidden from them. Honestly if they don't secure it...it should be locked away until he's done in the WH.
When is President Trump going to realize the seriousness of this topic? IMO, he's President 24/7/365, he's conducting business with every waking moment. This IMO ranks right up there with Hillary's private server.
He won't...and the ones cheering him on don't care.
