Jeff Sessions confirmation vote by full committee postponed / CALL NOW

The vote by the full Senate Judiciary Committee on Jeff Sessions’ nomination to serve as US Attorney General was postponed until Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.  Among the primary reasons for the delay were outstanding questions regarding Senator Sessions’ civil rights background and history.

In the past, Sessions has been accused of racism and support of mass deportation of illegal immigrants, which he addressed [JURIST reports] during his confirmation hearings. On Tuesday the Senate Judiciary Committee [official website] agreed to delay [Alabama Today report] the vote on Sessions' confirmation until the end of January.
