White House to press: Lay off Trump's youngest son
By Rebecca Savransky - 01/24/17 04:11 PM EST

The White House on Tuesday urged the media to let President Trump's youngest child "grow up outside of the political spotlight."

One day after a "Saturday Night Live" writer was suspended for tweeting a joke about Trump's 10-year-old son, the White House statement appealed to the "longstanding tradition that the children of Presidents are afforded the opportunity to grow up outside of the political spotlight."

"The White House fully expects this tradition to continue. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter."

A Saturday Night Live writers tweet is hardly "the press"

Trump had no qualms about belittling minors before he was elected, though

Funny that he was more upset about the reports of the crowd size at his inauguration than what was said about his young son. Interesting.

From where are you getting these pearls of fantasy?

This.

This needs to go out to others.  The incessant snark, offering nothing of substance, is becoming very tiresome.

It illustrates his double standards, ie: hypocrisy.  Both of him and those that know of him, yet support him.

For someone who says, "This is wrong, I will not do it!" cannot support someone who does without betraying himself.

You really just sound like someone whose just tired of being reminded of that.

Barron will be eighteen years old when Trump leaves the White House.

He'll be PEOPLE magazine's "sexiest man alive"

I hope he gets the chance to play baseball, like his father did.   He's going to be a tall drink of water, too.

Judging by the old saying, "What you don't know can't hurt you," you must be practically invulnerable.

It gets old HonestJohn.  It's to the point that it is petulant and childish.  I am tired of reading non-stop DU-style snark post after post.  If I wanted to read DU, I'd go to DU.

You know, I read an article soome time ago as to the root reason of anti-semitism.  It argued that anti-semitism persists in the world because people don't like to be reminded of what is right and what is wrong.  And the merest existence of Judaism means that there is a 'light unto the nations' reminding them of it.

Your response is very much in the same vein.  Tired of being reminded of right and wrong.

What Trump is doing, in many cases, is wrong.  And we should never stop being a light illuminating those wrongs.

What is tiring is just how often he commits wrongs and how many, who would never do such things themselves, cheer it.

And frankly, it would be much easier for one man to stop behaving so wrongly... than it would be to try and stop everyone pointing it out.

Pay him no mind. He comes from a long line of real estate people -- they're a vacant lot.

HEY!  Watch it!

Back in the day, my little children would ask, "Daddy, what do you do?  Do you sell houses?"

I replied, "No, I don't sell houses.  I assist people in making decisions!"

Over a 39 year span, I could write a book.  Each client, whether a buyer or seller was a case study in human nature.

And who in the hell wouldn't enjoy being somebody's "hero"?

My bad.  No disparagement intended!  :)  Then I will say that the bad man in question.... is out standing in a field.

I hear you.  Maybe I can pull a few more nerves out of my ass to replace the last one they have hung their hats upon.

Remind me to never piss you off!
