The French presidential hopeful said that the vote for Brexit in the UK had initiated a domino effect across the rest of Europe and the continent's populations will not be suppressed any longer.
She said: “2016 was the year when the Anglo-Saxon world woke up, 2017 will be the year where the population of continental Europe wakes up.
“It is no longer a question about possibility, it is a question of time.”
