Trump Captures ISIS Leader On Day One Of Airstrikes

January 23, 2017 by Baxter Dmitry

The United States has wounded and captured ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi after one day of punishing airstrikes, according to reports from Iraq.

President Trump convened his top generals on his first day in office and ordered them to provide a plan to eradicate ISIS within 30 days – a key election promise – and according to sources in the region the new tactics have drawn immediate success.

Secretary of Defense James Mattis spent his first full day at the Pentagon by overseeing 31 strikes against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. A variety of fighters, bombers and remotely piloted aircraft engaged in the bombing run, which saw 25 strikes in Syria and six in Iraq.

Exactly, @skeeter ....it's why I went ahead and posted it.   He may be in the hospital...in handcuffs and leg irons.

Pentagon is denying, however. Still up in the air.

lunaticoutpost.com doesn't count?   :smoking:

I'm making borrachos and tamales today.  I don't have time for no stinking link searching.  :P  My fingers are on fire though if that counts for anything.

LOL.   I shall refrain from any and all blonde jokes... lest I get hit again...

How did Trump capture this guy when he's been at the WH all day?

Allright, that there is SCARY AS SHIT.

Don't be giving us nightmare ingredients.

The last thing I want to risk is waking up in a gilded solid gold French Renaissance Boudoir that would make Liberace blush while being put on trial for crimes against the Continuum simply because I refused to genuflect when Trump's name was mentioned.
Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

In my mind, perhaps we do not need so much of this type of news.

If the evil ones go quietly away in the night, not to be heard of again, we may accomplish even more.

One can be more scared of what one does not know than of what does know.

I've been preaching that sermon for a LONG time now!  Thanks for the assist!

Yep - and you are both correct.

However ... (you knew that was going to happen)

Fear goes both ways. You've a population at home that are also quite frightened and want to know something, anything, is being done, especially after the complete incompetence of the last lot in power.

It's a balance. Enough information to reassure the people at home, until such time as they relax and start to trust the ones set to protect them again, with enough darkness to make the enemy fear. I feel the new administration will err on the side of too much information for a while. Makes our job harder, but thems the breaks.
