Trump Signing Ceremony Image

We are starting to see some images come in from the new WH photographer. This is from the EO signing ceremony he did yesterday. Interesting composition choice by the photographer.

Interesting composition choice by the photographer.

Can you expand on that? I'm not a hugely visual person - I can appreciate the fine points of composition after they're pointed out, but not before.

The elephant in the room is the framing element in the background, specifically on Ivanka (her framed in the window).

The overall composition though is actually reminiscent of a very classical image you may recognize.  I don't mean this in a critical way either, but beyond the overall layout, it has the similar addition that each person is caught in a pose that tells a unique story. Different expressions, different points of gazing.

Technically it is very well done.

Intriguing. Now you've pointed it out, I can see it - a power behind the throne sort of vibe to it.
