President-elect Donald Trump responded to backlash over his attack on Rep. John Lewis (D-Ga.) on Saturday evening, suggesting the pair work together to focus on the nation's inner cities.

“Congressman John Lewis should finally focus on the burning and crime infested inner-cities of the U.S. I can use all the help I can get!” Trump wrote.

Yep ... trying to bring the burning and crime infested inner-cities after Bammy set us back several decades is going to require help ... Lewis needs to step out to the plate instead of running his mouth.

There are plenty of poverty stricken and crime infested inner cities that Lewis could reach out to.  Perhaps he should start visiting the inner cities and see if he can lend a hand.
