What you are saying is that there is a right time and place for everything. Many liberals believe the right time and place is everywhere and all the time.
That's right. I grew up tipping my hat to the ladies, putting your shirt back on if they were present, pleasant conversation with folks, and the idea that if you can't say it in front of your Gramma, it ain't worth sayin...
And then on the weekend, wander on down to the Wild Horse, where the band was loud, you could kick up your heels without very much discretion, really go on a tear, and the hoochie mammas thought it all in fun. Two wholly separated worlds.
The thing is, sometime in your late twenties or so, you get married to a good girl and your youth starts rubbing off, you settle down and start having babies, and you realize all that snorting and kicking up your heels ain't the way to go... And what with them children and all, you want to go back to Mayberry RFD... That pleasant, polite place... but nowadays, Mayberry's gone. They mowed it over and put up a casino and a strip joint. *shakes head*
