A Joint Session of Congress met on Friday to officially certify President Trump’s win in the Electoral College vote, with lame duck Vice President Joe Biden presiding.

After Biden gavels the joint session to a close, he is caught on the microphone saying something strange. Do you hear it? Watch:

For some reason, Biden turns to Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and says, “God save the queen.”

Why Biden referenced the British anthem after a very American political process, I don’t know.
