Trump announces 11 more White House hires

Donald Trump announced the appointment of 11 White House staffers Wednesday, making official a series of long-expected hires.
Among those announced: the naming of former Apprentice contestant Omarosa Manigault as director of communications for the office of public liaison, and Trump's private security director Keith Schiller as deputy assistant to the president and director of Oval Office operations.
And as expected, two top campaign aides to Mike Pence landed senior roles. Marc Short will serve as the director of legislative affairs and Josh Pitcock will serve as the vice president’s chief of staff. Jen Pavlik, who worked as an aide to Pence during his time in Congress and as Indiana’s governor, will be Pence’s deputy chief of staff.
Bill Stepien, a former aide to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, will serve as White House political director.
The other staffing announcements included John DeStefano as director of presidential personnel; George Gigicos as director of advance; Jessica Ditto as deputy communications director; Raj Shah as deputy communications director and research director; and John McEntee as special assistant and personal aide to the president.
