A Gallup poll seemed to put a damper on Donald Trump's presidency before he's even sworn in, with fewer than half the public saying he's up to the job of being president.

At least, that's how the results are being reported. But a closer look at the data tells a much different story.

Gallop was so inaccurate for the '12 election that they didn't bother doing this last election. Why should I bother with them now?
