Senate to vote on Obamacare repeal budget next week

Congressional Republicans will take their first step to repeal Obamacare Tuesday when the Senate unveils a bare-bones budget targeting the health law, with a floor vote expected next week, GOP Senate aides tell POLITICO.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell had promised to act on what he has dubbed the “Obamacare repeal resolution” as soon as the new Congress convened. Some Republicans had hoped to vote on the fiscal 2017 blueprint by week’s end but that’s no longer considered feasible. Here is a draft of the budget, obtained by POLITICO.
