He may only have three weeks left before he leaves the White House after serving two terms as president.
But President Barack Obama was eager to get back to Washington after wrapping up his Christmas vacation in Hawaii.
The President along with first lady Michelle and their daughters Sasha and Malia boarded Air Force One late on Sunday after dinner with friends at Buzz's Original Steakhouse in Kailua.
