Famed law professor Alan Dershowitz vowed to renounce his Democratic Party membership if Rep. Keith Ellison is named the new DNC Chairman.

The Harvard Law Professor Emeritus argued that the divide within the party will only be widened if the Democratic National Committee selects the Minnesota congressman who has been associated with the Nation of Islam’s Louis Farrakhan.

 

“If they now appoint Keith Ellison, who worked with Farrakhan, to be chairman of the DNC, you’re going to see a lot of people leave,” Dershowitz told host Sandra Smith Friday on Fox Business.
