There are more than five times of germs on a smartphone screen as compared to a toilet seat.

Japanese mobile phone operator NTT DoCoMo has provided funds to equip toilets at Tokyo's Narita International Airport with toilet papers to sanitise your smartphones. The toilet papers would also provide you with data about the company's public Wi-Fi network along with information about its travel guide app with a voice translation function for smartphones.

Ahhhhh yes . . . the old squat toilets . . . anatomically more . . . helpful . . . but not as comfortable. LOL. I always wanted a cheater bar suspended in front of them, to hold onto.

In that confined space inside, many, many people were significantly made ill.  The results of the follow-up cause study made cell phones "illegal" within the kitchen/dining area.  The amount of contagious germs on the phones was second to no other piece of equipment, including the toilets.

They used to say similar things about the  old Bell Tel house phone handsets.
