Probably right, but that won't stop his slaves in the media from seeking him out every time Trump does or doesn't do something. 

Since in a few weeks Obama won't be able to fleece the taxpayers anymore to finance his high-living lifestyle, he will need a job -- one that won't require him to do any actual work.  I won't be surprised if he lands a gig on MSNBC.

True power is not what the law says, but the perception of power recognized by others.

Trump has no legal power right now but he is almost ruling this country at the moment.
