The best way to fight terror is with “openness”, European Union (EU) head Jean-Claude Juncker has said, stressing that Europe must continue to receive migrants in the wake of the deadly truck attack in Berlin.

Speaking to Funke Mediengruppe on Saturday, the president of the European Commission warned that the “rhetoric of exclusion” strengthens terrorists, and called for more EU involvement in nations’ internal security.

“Terror only takes us if we allow it”, he said of the attack on Monday, in which a Tunisian migrant ploughed a truck into people at a Christmas market killing 12 and injuring many more.

Open borders policy is the rough equivalent to unprotected sex. The consequence of the latter is to permit massive numbers of viruses into the bloodstream which will eventually kill healthy cells in the body and the infected while the consequence of the former is to permit massive numbers of terrorists into the nation which will kill healthy human beings and enable the terrorists to destroy the nation from within by launching catastrophic attacks from inside the nation itself.

The leftists talk a lot about the pathological side of too much fear but never discuss the pathological side of not being fearful enough about things that are horribly, lethally dangerous and which therefore should rightly be feared by any sane person.

Largely and increasingly to be a good leftist requires a severe, reckless, licentious detachment from reality including one's own natural instincts for self-preservation.

Directly in line from Marxist doctrine, chapter and verse. One of Marx's sayings was  that socialists should "create a new reality" every moment and modern leftists have taken that to heart and made "magical thinking" (a pathological thought disorder) a leftist pillar.

Hence the tendency for leftists to insult realists as "cynics" because we insist that some things are impossible and that it is incumbent upon a normal adult to have a workable understanding of the demarcations between reality and unreality.

By definition, one cannot have border security without having borders. That small detail is lost on reality-denying leftists.
