Democrats are still in total denial about the election. They’re also still making ridiculous excuses about why they lost. The latest one is a real laugh.

The Washington Examiner reports:

Democrats still mourning the outcome of last month’s election have added a new step to their grieving process: leveling charges of racism against those who support the constitutional method of electing the president.

That's not even the half of it. Why is it racist, you might say?

Because supposedly it was a tool of those evil racist Southern plantation farmers to boost their representation in Presidential elections by using the Three Fifths Compromise to boost their number of representatives, and thus Presidential electors, by importing slaves who couldn't vote.

Never mind, of course, that there hasn't been legal slavery in this country in a sesquicentury.

I would be interested to find out how the election would have gone had that been the case.  Would Republican gains in California and New York have been offset by Democrat gains in Florida and Texas?

I do know that if states had done the Congressional District method last time like NE and ME, Romney would have just barely won.

If the makeup of the House and Senate is any indication, Romney probably would have won 2012, and the Republican would have probably easily won 2016, simply because more Congressional districts are drawn Republican than Democrat (the GOP districts are often 60-40 but the Dem districts are closer to 90-10).

Well of course. Without the electoral college New York and California choose the President with no input from anyone else. All the other States except these two, may as well just stay home.


But the bigger issue is that everything is racist whenever Democrats lose, and everything is Great whenever Democrats win. This really shows how unserious and partisan this latest push is. Does anyone think any of this would be happening if the Democrats had won? Of course not.


Fortunately for everyone, the whole "racist" meme is so hackneyed and cliché, that it really doesn't have much weight anymore. I think everyone, including many Black people, are getting sick of hearing 'racism' a hundred times a day concerning every aspect of human life.

I strongly agree.

I'd like to see an analysis done. That is to say, I'd like to see what the electoral college vote totals would have been IF all the states in the country accorded their electoral votes as do Nebraska and Maine.

Would Mr. Trump's totals have been lower.... or higher?

The numbers I hear most often are: Clinton won the popular vote by 2MM votes, but if you remove CA and NY from the total then Trump wins by 3MM votes. 

Now we've been told there are 57 states so the upshot is clear.  55 states are racist and 2 are not.
