If this is true...Ailes will be essentially the Public Affairs Officer for the State Department.

Like this pick or hate it...he'll take the place of John Kirby...who has turned out to be a major disappointment since leaving the Pentagon...and in a move that should be a celebration for PA and PR people around the world...it means Marie Harf will be on the streets looking for a job.

Harf and Jen Psaki are two textbook examples of everything you're NOT supposed to be and do in that position.

But sadly it will mean that we won't get to hear the awesome AP reporter Matt Lee hammer these idiots with a verbal club anymore.
