I’ve reluctantly had to face the fact that my fantasy of having a forum that could entertain more or less any kind of posting about alternative topics—I’ve had to realize that—that fantasy was a rather crazy and naïve fantasy.

Summary
.
1. An intolerable amount of harsh, demeaning, person-hood insulting and assaultive posts have become a popular perversely recreational norm.

2. That will end immediately. Such posts will be deleted in toto on sight. No editing. No discussion. No argument. No appeal. Members will be presumed to be adults well able to adjust their posts, wording, phrases and tones accordingly—to begin with. Failure to do so will have quick and firm consequences.

3. The goal of a collegial, mutually respectful, mutually supportive, posting tone, mood, style will be encouraged and almost insisted on.

4. Posts which are clearly contrary to #3 may be deleted on sight. No editing. No discussion. No argument. No appeal. Members will be presumed to be adults well able to adjust their posts, wording, phrases and tones accordingly—to begin with. Failure to do so will have quick and firm consequences.

5. When there is some room for argument in my perceptions of #4, I may ask the poster to reword their post and give them a chance to do it. Nevertheless, the expectation is that adults can act like mutually supportive, collaborative, collegial team-mates WHEN and IF they want to. Those
refusing to do so are welcome to post on other forums on TBR. They are not welcome to post in that assaultive, demeaning, insulting style, tone and manner on the Alternative Realities forum.

6. Myst has assured me that she’s gotten an extra thick hyde from a local taxidermist and has a chain-mail suit on order. {joke} Wailing, whining and lobbying to the contrary will likely be considered poor form, immature, crass and to largely be ignored as arrogant 2-year-old-mentality-fit-throwing.

7. Myst has provided us all with an incredibly wonderful site. The LEAST all of us can do is to post in the manner we are called to by her stated standards, requests, policies. Just because she may not always have the energy or feel up to the bother of a given day to police those standards is no excuse for eroding them.

8. I tried initially to engage the contrarians in a light hearted, humorous, respectful way that mildly spoke their language.
It did not work. Every olive branch I extended, was thrown in their wood-chipper—with the feeling that they wished they were throwing my head and heart into their chipper, as well..

I understand the compulsions of seriously Attachment Disordered contrarians. I’ve counseled with them and taught them for 40 years. The arrogant bullying; the hostility toward those who demonstrate difference-from-them; the brutally assaultive personal attacks are common. Tough tacos. They can get therapy, post elsewhere, whatever. They won’t get away with continuing to spew their skunk poo all over the AR forum.

10. I’m not perfect and not going to be perfect. But I will earnestly endeavor to be fair and reasonable within the above guidelines. Nastiness, abusive and other types of personal insults will not be tolerated.

11. There are warehouses full of solid evidence supporting my basic contentions about these END TIMES and related topics. Folks will eventually find out the truth of that—many to their own unnecessary and premature hurt. Nevertheless, it doesn’t matter. Even if the topics were total fantasy, fiction, an operatic farce of a ‘space opera’ or whatever off the wall creation of a group of monkeys playing with typewriters—it is the right, honor and privilege of members hereon to discuss whatever in a protected, mutually respectful tone and manner. That will be the standard.

12. When I first joined FR, 5-15% of folks were awake and significantly informed of such topics, forces and issues. Now, in many conservative groups, the percentages are probably more like 60-70% and in the general population probably 40-60%. My hope, calling, expectation as a “Watchman on the Wall” is to help folks wake-up and prepare for the not distant future. Folks are welcome to disagree—as long as it’s in a proper mutually respectful tone and style.

It appears that a number of the Attachment Disorder driven contrarians are having great difficulties with some of the simple vocabulary in the above. I don't know which word(s) they don't understand. However, it will have to be their problem. It is not their option to continue to spew skunk poo all over this forum or threads in this forum.
