Valerie Jarrett: I urged Kellyanne Conway to take a job in Trump's White House

Senior White House adviser Valerie Jarrett said Wednesday that she urged President-elect Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Kellyanne Conway to accept a role in the incoming administration, something Conway has said she’s unlikely to do because she has four young children.
Speaking at POLITICO’s “Women Rule” event, Jarrett relayed to the audience part of the private conversation she had had with Conway, another speaker at the event, backstage. During her earlier conversation, Conway said she intends to remain connected to Trump once he takes office but implied that it would be nearly impossible for her to take on an official White House role and be a mother to her four children, all of which are younger than 12, at the same time.
