Clinton, Kaine planning 'thank you events'
By Sarah Westwood (@sarahcwestwood) • 12/1/16 12:12 PM

Sen. Tim Kaine, Hillary Clinton's former running mate, said Thursday that he and Clinton would soon appear for a series of "thank you events" in the "next couple of weeks" to show their appreciation for supporters.

"Hillary is a very resilient person. I mean, she has dealt with an awful lot in her life," Kaine said during an appearance on Fox 5, a local Washington-area channel.

"And she's got a philosophical perspective that, OK, if you've been given a lot of opportunities... you also have to accept the tough things," he said.

His "thank you" tour could coincide with a similar string of events President-elect Trump will host this month in states that delivered him the presidency. On Thursday, he will kick off the tour with a rally in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Wonder where they got this crazy idea, people are so sick of campaigns at this point.

She needs to think outside the box, maybe start a new reality tv show, instead of wooing the masses with 'you're fired', she can say 'your dead'.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

Didn't she already do that in the 90's?

Trump is having a blast.  He's back where he loves to be ... in front of an enthusiastic throng.

Yeah. Just like Obama. Unfortunately after the grab ass some actual work needs to be done. So far I don't see any real impressive things going on.

Why do you true believers get off on rallies? It is the strangest fetish I have run across. Is it because you guys like to rub up against strangers or do you look at it as a pick pocket opportunity?

Crowd at Trump rally brings back 'lock her up' chants

By Paulina Firozi - 12/01/16 07:26 PM EST

Hundreds of supporters of president-elect Donald Trump resurrected the “lock her up” chant at his first post-election rally.

Before Trump took the stage, the audience erupted into the chant that was a staple at rallies across the country during the presidential election.

Again, you understand nothing @corbe

Here's what your extreme distress and passionate dislike caused you to miss:

cel·e·bra·tion
noun: celebration: the action of marking one's pleasure at an important event or occasion by engaging in enjoyable, typically social, activity.

We are very, very happy with and thankful for President-elect Trump's victory.

I do hope you find a better way than your knee-jerk insulting snark to deal with it.

What I don't understand is that it was covered wall to wall by every cable news network. Must have been a really slow news day.

Yes. The whole rally fetish is very disturbing. I wonder if there are any "furries" involved in the rallies? I read that sometimes fetishes cross pollinate when they have common themes.

If you don't think the announcement of James Mattis as SecDef is impressive then there's nothing to discuss.

Trump was out having fun and being fun.  I have NO fears of him going "wobbly" as the great Maggie Thatcher admonished Bush 41.

Trump is assembling a pretty good team and he's serious about his mission.  His stated mission is border control, tax relief,  repeal of ACA and ridiculous administrative directives and bureaucratic regulations, re-building our military standing and morale, strong foreign policy and conservative SCOTUS nominations.

You have to be a bitter-ender to not support a Republican President working with GOP Congress, Governors and a conservative SCOTUS to take America back from the freaks.

Actually, I find it quite amusing that Hillary is hosting a series of 'thank you' events.  Let's face it, she didn't exactly fill the halls when she was campaigning, does she really expect to have overwhelming crowds now that she's lost?   :silly:

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

It seems this forum has become the province of those who never completed the five stages of grief after the Indiana primary when it became obvious that it was either Trump or Hillary and the latter was not any sane individual's option.

It's all about fundraising for the parasites of the left.

What will be really interesting is to see - after all these Jill Stein "Hail Mary" machinations in PA, WI and MI as Hillary's stalking horse - is what happens to the Clinton Foundation now that Arab despots and assorted foreign scumbags no longer pay $500K speaking tributes to Syphilis-Addled Bubba in the expectation of favors from the former SoS and presumptive POTUS.

Bill is off the speaking circuit I do believe.  Who's gonna pay for that creep anymore if Cankles isn't in the WH?

They are a sign of enthusiastic support.  An investment in a positive future for those attending.   Politics.

The rallies were a huge part of the movement because the onerous sledge hammer of a duplicitous media and bullying left wing PC culture made everyone who believed in a good America feel like they were alone.  Racist, xenophobe, homophobe, misogynist ... blah blah blah from dawn until dusk.

These 10K, 15K, 20K rallies fortified people who attended ... and watched ... that NO, WE ARE NOT ALONE!

That's what it was.  People said:  "We can go out and be patriotic Americans and there are a LOT of us."   The rallies were more of a community of people who gained strength in their hopes and convictions against an Alinsky-esque torrent of "every Republican is a racist" garbage.

That's what rallies did.  And will continue to do, and I hope Trump continues them all over the country.  Because the Left hates Christian America, hates our history and institutions and culture, and 19,000 folks in Cincinnati tonight will always beat the 250 Soros funded monkeys burning American flags and throwing rocks through a retail space in Portland Oregon.

Really? A number of us voted for the toad just because Hitlary IS a proven POS over the last 25 years. As for your insane  comment in a previous post about Donny not going wobbly? Set the kool aid down a pick up a paper. Donny has folded on Obamacare, investigating Hitlary and this BS crony capitalist deal with Carrier is a page directly out of Obama's playbook by picking winners. Hell, he even took credit for saving a Lincoln plant that Ford wasn't even planning on shuttering. Ford is still building that plant in Mexico.

Yeah. Let's have more frickin' rallies because the country was so enthralled with the last 2 years of that bullshit. Utterly absurd.
