College students are such elitist snobs. They pay lip service to poor people, but not to the choices that poor people make at the voting booth.
According to a study I read this weekend, the counties that voted for Clinton generated 65% of the nation's GDP, while the counties that voted for Trump generated 35%. Clearly, this was a poor peoples' revolution, but not of the romantic, imposed-by-force variety championed by those drunk on Castro. No, Trump was chosen by poor people themselves - just not the right sort of poor people favored by pampered, sheltered college students.
