15 Trump Flip-Flops in 15 Days
« on: November 25, 2016, 01:50:26 pm »
 May, Politico compiled the most comprehensive list ever of the then likely GOP presidential nominee’s history of self-contradictions, flip-flops and even flip-flop-flips. Over the course of four decades of radio and TV interviews, newspaper and magazine profiles, books written about him and books written by him, rambling campaign speeches and late-night tweets, Donald Trump has created a vast archive of arguments with himself.

Remember how much the GOP pummeled Kerry over this?

Those of us who aren't blinded by the shadowy recesses of Trump's colon can see it plain as day.

Trump didn't write those books anyway, he'd never be able to sit at a keyboard that long.

Usually, a candidate waits to be elected before he breaks his promises.  Trump broke his promises over and over again throughout his campaign.

And in some cases Trump actually didn't make promises.   Rather, certain people took essentially a blank canvas and painted him into the image they thought he should or would be.   They viewed Trump as their savior or someone just like them with the same values, beliefs and goals they have.

How long will it be before they stop spinning every lie, broken promise and shattered expectation and realize they have made a huge mistake?

@Cripplecreek    :silly:

Donny said what he had to say to get the gullible to vote for him, but he will govern like what he is, a lifelong New York liberal.  Only a fool would expect any different.

Politico, sure.

Are the direct quotes including dates and sources untrue?

Well, if you could find another POTUS who was elected with his supporters high on hopium, you could look at how his supporters felt towards the end of his term and perhaps get an indication.
My avatar shows the national debt in stacks of $100 bills.  If you look very closely under the crane you can see the Statue of Liberty.
