President-elect Donald Trump exploded at media bigs in an off-the-record Trump Tower powow on Monday, sources told The Post.

“It was like a f—ing firing squad,” said one source.

“Trump started with Jeff Zucker and said I hate your network, everyone at CNN is a liar and you should be ashamed….

“The meeting was a total disaster. The TV execs and anchors went in there thinking they would be discussing the access they would get to the Trump administration, but instead they got a Trump-style dressing down,” the source added.

A second source confirmed the encounter.

How to lose credibility while posting:

After FOX news ran a year long Trumpfomercial. I ended up turning to CNN because at least tey were balanced in their hatred for all republicans.

Trump wants to talk about lying? The SOB called in to FOX and friends and spouted the lie about Rafael Cruz being involved in the Kennedy assassination and the Fox & Moron crew sat there nodding like the simpletons they are. Their concerned silence was tacit complicity in the lie.

Jake Tapper at CNN actually did a little investigative reporting that FOX was unwilling to do and found the story to be utterly ridiculous.

I had a license for 30 years to diagnose mental illness.  Mental health workers and psychological examiners know the best predictor of future behavior is past behavior.

Well, by that logic, he should have lost the election.

To give him some credit, he may have been one of the first people to figure out how much the internet's gift of the ability to communicate with voters instantly and directly has decreased the influence of the mainstream press.

I wouldn't have thought you could defy the press that openly and succeed, but he clearly understood the medium better than did myself and a whole lot of other people.

There is nothing in this world, short of him buying those networks himself, that would give him or Republicans in general equal access or fair treatment. 

Too many Republicans have bought into the idea that the press will treat them fairly if only they're nice to the press.  It never happens, and the only effect of being nice to most of the press is to allow the press to maintain a facade of respectability and professionalism.

This probably isn't a good use of his time, but i don't see it moving the needle against him given that they couldn't be more anti-Trump than they already are.

Being President and running an election are very different things. The latter is all talk. Increasing the hatred you opponents have for you only makes your job harder.
