Ellison says he'd increase voter turnout as DNC chair
By Jessie Hellmann - 11/21/16 09:05 AM EST

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) says he is the best candidate to lead the Democratic National Committee because he could increase voter turnout in areas that help Democrats win elections.

"We need to turn out the vote, and I'm actually pretty good at it," Ellison said on CNN Monday.

"I believe by getting out the vote in Milwaukee, Detroit, Flint and the suburbs of Philly, we could have changed this whole election."

Ellison, a six-term congressman, is running to be chairman of the DNC. His candidacy is backed by key figures and party leaders, including Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and incoming Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.)

In other words, if they hadn't assumed PA was in the bag and had committed as massive vote fraud in Philly as they usually do, they would have won the state.  Yeah, let's go with that...

"I believe by getting out the vote in Milwaukee,"

Quote
Milwaukee Magazine reports that Islam is “easily the fastest-growing religious group” in the city. The Muslim population has grown from about 3,000 in 2000 to over 9,000 today. The article profiled the Islamic Society of Milwaukee but missed an important fact: It is led by a Hamas supporter.

The Executive Director of the Islamic Society of Milwaukee is Othman Atta. He opposes the labeling of Hamas and Hezbollah as terrorist groups. He legitimizes violence against Israelis, saying “it’s within the right of an occupied people to resist their occupiers” but makes a generic condemnation of attacks on “innocent civilians.”

In November, he spoke at the American Muslims for Palestine conference that featured at least 13 Islamist speakers. In 2001, an FBI memo documented that some members of the mosque were fundraising for the Holy Land Foundation, a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity that was later shut down for financing Hamas.

"and the suburbs of Philly,"

Quote
Islam is part of the very “fabric of Philadelphia, contends Qasim Rashad, the Emir of the South Philadelphia located United Muslim Masjid (UMM). The Emir handles the masjid’s day-to-day operations.

“Philadelphia is uniquely Islamic from the perspective that there is a burgeoning and obvious Muslim population,” said Rashad, a Philadelphia native who lives in Mt. Airy. “There is no place in Philadelphia you can go and not see the presence, or the signature of Muslims and Islam.”

"we could have changed this whole election."

I think we know who Mr. Ellison sees as the next potential voting block for the Dems will be.  He just listed every Muslim influenced area in every Liberal part of the country he could think of.

Their problem was that the voter fraud machine was working well in Philthy, but Bucks country didn't come through. THey run clean elections there so I do not see what he could do to boost what they got.

Ellison is wanting to turn out the Muslim vote.  He believes...and rightly so...that they will be a large block that votes entirely Democrat.

Wishful thinking. They vote Rat already and there are not enough of them to matter. If there were, this would have been a different election.

Give it four more years and a few hundred million more "refugees".  Remember the Dems play the long game on this stuff.  They aren't focused on the 50m target.

Turned out close than it should have you have to admit.

Big difference between the illegals and the refugees is that the refugees are being give a type of status immediately upon arrival that allows them to not be sneaky about how they get registered to vote.  They can be eligible the moment they hit the ground in the U.S.

ANd remember too...Obama and his Administration aren't putting these people in traditional blue states or cities either...he's creating new areas in places like Amarillo, Texas and the Dakotas and in Idaho to house these people.  All of the new "immigrants" are populating the traditionally red states.

And IMHO it's being done on purpose.

@Frank Cannon, well....she supposedly won the popular vote, and that is and will be used to push to get rid of the electoral college.  You can hear the rumbles now.  As @txradioguy said, they're playing the long game and we just want them to leave us alone.

Sorry, but they have been pushing to get rid of the Electoral College for at least a 16 years (Bush v Gore). They do not have the juice to do it and there is no strong movement to get rid of it.

As for the long game, they thought they had the long game figured out back in '08. Carville wrote a book basically saying that they would control everything for the next 40 years. Today they control nothing. If one more states legislature flips red, there will be enough states to start adding Constitutional Amendments. That how bad their long game has been working for them.

The problem with the long game is that too many things change through time. Issues, voters, intensity. It's a losing strategy.
