Obamacare was a complete and utter failure.  Not only is it not affordable to most people, but the taxpayers are facing picking up the tab for the insurance companies losing money expecting the Fed to bail them out!

Marco Rubio introduces Obamacare Bailout prevention bill

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, along with a coalition of Republican lawmakers has introduced the HHS Slush Fund Elimination Act a measure that aims to prevent the use of federal funds to rescue companies from Affordable Care Act or “Obamacare” costs.

The HHS Slush Fund Elimination Act would prohibit the government from using the Judgment Fund, or any other federal funds, to pay any final judgment, award or settlement compromise related to any lawsuits related to the ACA’s risk programs. Their is similar legislation already in place but the group of Senators say the government is facing lawsuits from the private companies looking for compensation.

“Repealing and replacing ObamaCare is a top priority in the coming months, but one of the biggest battles we face right now is stopping the Obama Administration from ignoring and using billions in taxpayer dollars to bail out health insurance companies,” said Rubio. “The American people are paying too much for health insurance already, and they shouldn’t be forced to fork over even more of their paychecks to corporations that embraced a flawed health care law.”

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
