It's so much more than what this article suggests.
There is an underlying fascism in the way the left conducts itself, which they project gleefully on the right. They fret endlessly about the "freedoms" that right will take away when the left aims to do that *and more*. Wait, what's the "and more" part? Oh, that's the part where the left not only takes away your freedom, but imposes their way on you... OR ELSE. Think "bake the cake" or some of their enviro-nazi policies or their policy of personal destruction with those whom they disagree.
The left vilifies Chick-Fil-A because the founder is a Christian, but when a crazed Muslim shoots up a gay bar, Chick-Fil-A sends loads of free food for first responders and family without judgment. On the left, if Hillary doesn't win the election, Trump supporters are told they may have to look for a new job. Can you IMAGINE if Chick-Fil-A put out a memo saying, "If you voted for Hillary you may have to look for a new job?"
No, no - the left is beyond simple projection. They have full blown delusions about what they represent and what the right represents.
