(Kansas City, MO) A 73-year-old veteran walked out of his home Saturday morning to find his car windows had been shot out and the tire of another car had been slashed.

Dave Bendelier believes he was targeted for the Donald Trump campaign sign he had displayed in the window of his 1998 Cadillac.

Bendelier said he thinks the vandals used a pellet gun to shoot out the driver-side windows and the rear window of his Cadillac.  One of the front tires of an SUV on his property also had one of its front tires slashed.

During the primaries, I had a Ted Cruz sticker on my front storm door.  It was small and rather hard to read unless you walked up my front steps to get close to it.  I don't get kids for Halloween because they are too lazy to climb the steps.  I suppose the neighborhood vandals are just as lazy. 

Really didn't see many political signs for either party in my neighborhood.  Saw only one Trump/Pence sign in a second floor apartment window.  No Hillary signs at all, which is odd in a community that is 99.99% Democrat.
