The “Trump Transition in Chaos” Stories Are From Disgruntled Lobbyists

But the moment he won, they used connections via Chris Christie and others to descend on the Trump team like vultures. Mike Pence has now shooed them away and it is no coincidence at all that Pence’s take over of the transition coincides with the leaks of a transition in chaos.
Politico has the latest and you get the strongest hint yet that the “chaos” stories are all from disgruntled lobbyists suddenly denied access.

Vice-president elect Mike Pence has gutted the transition’s so-called “landing teams,” the people responsible for going into federal agencies and helping to reshape them under a Trump administration, according to one source inside the transition and one downtown lobbyist close to it.
Pence knows how Washington works. We saw just last week that former Senate Majority Leader Trent Lott was already openly boasting of lobbyist influence in the transition. Pence cut that short.
Suddenly we have “transition in chaos” stories? It is no coincidence. What we are seeing is the old guard of Washington, suddenly on the sidelines, generating stories designed to restore them to power.
The more these stories of chaos amp up, the more you know Mike Pence is right over target.
