Eliot Cohen, a former State Department official….. just days after he encouraged them to help the president-elect:

"After exchange [with] Trump transition team, changed my recommendation: stay away,” Cohen wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning. “They're angry, arrogant, screaming ‘you LOST!’  Will be ugly.”

Sounds just like the vengeance-seeking Trump militants that have opined their views right here on this board.

Sounds exactly the same.

Wow rabid Never Trumper and former Bushie got shown the door by Team Trump. Just how stupid is this guy to think he was now going to waltz into the Administration now? Maybe he should of thought about it before writing this May 3rd 2016 Wash Post op ed?

How dare he go against the Establishment.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Yes, you Squadristi have shown us all that even if someone actually voted for and encouraged others to vote for Trump in the end, their lack of total obeisance from the beginning towards your prince rightfully earns all the scorn, disdain, insults and derision you people can muster.

A bunch of vengeance-obsessed pathetic sore winners I have never witnessed before like I'm witnessing from your 'movement'.

It really instructive to watch how much in common are  the Leftist Democrats and the Never Trumpers.

Both are movements based on the notion that no matter how infantile, how childish or how stupidly wrong their actions are, they should never ever have to pay any price for the consequences.

Knock it off.  It makes you look disingenuous when you talk about winning graciously on one thread and for no reason at all taunt them on another thread.

And we know how desperate you are to make those who refused to vote for your prince-elect 'pay the price' for our insolence.

Trump’s impending nomination means it’s time for a third party

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/trumps-impending-nomination-means-its-time-for-a-third-candidate/2016/05/03/762186a4-108b-11e6-8967-7ac733c56f12_story.html

Folks seem to forget that the national leadership of the NT movement fought to prevent Trump from being nominated---after he won the votes to secure the nomination----and they continued this crusade against Trump through the convention.

This same group fought against Trump's victory during the general election campaign ... going so far as to try and force him to resign just weeks before election day.  Some fortified the rightness of their position against Trump by proclaiming that Hillary would be a better choice.

The consequences of the anti-Trump activities for a year or more should surprise no one, including the leaders of the NT movement of any member of it.   They severed all trust, all faith with the Trump camp; and they did so knowingly, loudly and with great pride.

Can there really be a serious, honest expectation that the voices who worked for his defeat and demise would be welcomed in a Trump administration?

Well, I don't think so.  The NT's, for all their flaws, seem like a pretty cohesive group.

Well someone has to stand up to the bullies of this Trumpkin cult you so slavishly give yourself too.

I mean once you finally come to realize he lied to you...someone is going to have to be there to ensure a fraud like DJT never gets the GOP nod ever again.

You Trumpkins will be in the corner sucking your thumb... completely helpless.

You folks keep illustrating how little you understand NeverTrump.

You keep citing as evidence the GOP Establishment oligarchy and insiders who opposed Trump as somehow being our 'leaders'.

We have nothing to do with those who openly declared for Hildabeast - because their reasons for opposing Trump are not the same reasons that principled Constitutional Conservatives oppose Trump.

What we do find interesting and believable is the claim that Trump's inner circle are arrogant, condescending jerks who like to scream "We won - you lost!" because we have all been witness to those exact same words being flung at us right here on this board by your fellows.
