More than two dozen protesters occupied the Capitol Hill office of Senator Charles Schumer Monday - and 17 young Democrats were arrested.
The group objected to Schumer's close ties to Wall Street as he is poised to lead Senate Democrats.
They called for Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders to lead the party instead, as Democrats were swept out of power last week.
They sang 'We are standing for out future and together we are strong' while clapping as they stepped inside Schumer's office Monday.
