Schumer supports Ellison for DNC chair: report

Sen. Charles Schumer, set to be the next Senate minority leader, is reportedly backing Rep. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) to serve as chairman of the Democratic National Committee.
 
Citing a source close to the New York Democrat, Politico reported Friday that Schumer spoke with Ellison on Thursday and “supports him for chair.”
 
“Without a Democratic White House, Schumer's view is the DNC is where grassroots organizing in sync with leg battles should be organized,” the source said.

Wow. Around 48 years ago leftists spit on returning servicemembers, and rioted at the democrat convention.

And perhaps not coincidentally the democrats lost the next 4 of 5 presidential elections (Ford's Nixon pardon is often attributed to his defeat by Carter). Twice each for Nixon and Reagan, L:aw & Order played an important role, in their victories.

Apparently the left is blind and tone deaf to that bit of their own history, or too self-absorbed to grasp the import of such simple things.

Image contributes greatly to perception, much more than detailed policy-wonk stuff.

These are the people that got free-breakfasts and lunches in school, now want free college?

Who works to pay the taxes to fund all that? Non-college graduate whites, deplorables, that is who.
