Trump would win big if teens could vote, poll shows

Donald Trump would win by a landslide if American teenagers got to choose the next president, according to a new poll.

A solid 47.1 percent of high school students backed Trump while only 32.6 percent voted for Hillary Clinton in a recent online mock election, according to After School, the country’s largest teen-focused social network. Trump also trounced Clinton in 42 of 50 states, according to the poll, in which 106,608 teens voted from Oct. 14-21 by using an app.

After School organizers told The Post they were surprised by the results but believe it shows the Selfie Generation loves The Donald because he’s a “political outsider” who shares teens’ “anti-establishment” values.

A number of "teen polls" have come out. Not sure if anything was said about them; even if this story is more than a week old; there are current stories about individual states.

Good reason for not giving children the vote.  Perhaps the voting age should be returned to 21?

Another good reason to not allow children to vote!

Yup.

Too bad we couldn't prevent immature and stupid people from voting. ClinTrump wouldn't even be an afterthought in this election.

@TomSea

Not surprising when you consider that the rational part of the teenaged brain isn't fully developed.

True.
AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

There are some much older people who should never be allowed to vote.  A few are among my family and friends.  That  said, if we tried to prohibit the uninformed idiots from voting, there might be only ten voters who would be allowed to vote.

You mean these morons?

(one of hundreds of vids)

Makes sense they would vote for Trump...
How to lose credibility while posting:
1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

If we do that, we should move the draft and enlistment age to 21.

As long as people can be drafted or enlist in the military at 18, that is a fair voting age.

Enlisting is a voluntary act, I don't think the two equate.

The question is will there be a conservative Party in 2020 for them- or Will the GOP slide further down the path of big government?

That Trump supporters think like children isn't much of a shock, really.
