Ipsos said Friday that the Democrat's top support comes from Mexico and other nations south of the border:

— Mexico, 86 percent.

— Colombia, 82 percent.

— Chile, 82 percent.

— Argentina, 74 percent.

— Brazil, 69 percent.

The former secretary of State, who favors even looser immigration rules than President Obama, also has wide support in Europe where she enjoys the backing of 65 percent in France, 69 percent in Germany and 83 percent in Norway.

Foreigners for Clinton, 81%

Foreign students in the United States overwhelmingly favor former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton over Donald Trump in the presidential race.

Some 71 percent in a new survey believe Clinton has "superior character" to Trump, according to New York-based International House. And 81 percent believe she's the best choice for president.

The students apparently favor Clinton's approach to key issues such as immigration and foreign affairs.

They ranked immigration policy as the top global issue.
